Boat Launch Access Rules:
- The Boat Launch area is for CLCB Members, Boat Storage Members, and RML Shareholders in Good Standing only.
- No one is permitted in the Boat Launch area before dawn or after dusk.
- No one under the age of 13 is permitted on the premises without an adult. Children ages 13-17 may be admitted without an adult if the Teen Waiver has been completed and submitted to the manager (one waiver per child per season). This includes guests of your teen – a waiver must be completed by the teen’s parent prior to admittance without an adult.
- Adults assume complete responsibility for their children and guests.
- Dogs are not allowed, per Oakland Ordinance 5-7.1 and NJDEP laws. Dog waste may not be disposed of in the dumpsters on the premises.
- All water vehicles (boats, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, etc.) stored on the premises must be registered with CLCB.
- Only manual and electric-motor boats are permitted on Crystal Lake. Fuel-based motor boats are prohibited.
- All boaters should wear Coast Guard approved life saving vests. Children age 12 or younger are required to wear a Coast Guard approved life jacket at all times while in a boat. All others are required to have one life jacket per person in their watercraft.
- Swimming is strictly prohibited from boats or the boat launch area. Swimming is only permitted at the beach during operating hours when a lifeguard is present.
- Please keep the water access area clear of personal belongings so boats can be put in/taken out of the water safely.
- Fishing: Only catch and release fishing is allowed.
- All water vehicles must be stored in their assigned locations with their registration sticker easily visible.
